"Do It Yourself" Preaching
Assessment BetterPreaching will guide you, step
by step, through a process of assessing your own preaching.
Two versions are available: one features self-assessment only,
the other assessment by congregation members in addition to
your self-assessment.
Congregational Survey
BetterPreaching has
developed a survey instrument that will give the preacher
accurate and detailed feedback on twenty-five aspects of
effective preaching. You distribute survey forms to
your congregation members, who then return the completed forms to
BetterPreaching. You will receive a detailed report of the
results and personalized suggestions for improvement.

Remote Preaching
Consultation
BetterPreaching's remote consultation will be designed to fit the preacher's needs. It will include submission of at least one videotaped sermon. It may also include the congregational survey and elements of the "do it yourself" preaching assessment. Preacher will receive written feedback and follow-up telephone coaching. |
